My idea is ...

Just a quick idea that I liked in the Heinemann books. They have a Performer Profile at the end of the chapter (the picture of the odd leaping girl).

Our idea is to use this as a Stretch and Challenge task. When we know our students well enough ask them to write a short piece on their own performance and how the topic of the day has affected them.

My name is Stef Cooke and I love rugby. I am in the second row in my college'sgirls team and have been playing for about 2 years.

As a woman playing rugby I have found that social stereotyoes make it more difficult for me to play...... etc etc.
